Madrid Highlights Diversity and Coexistence

A notable gathering in Madrid brought together community leaders, artists and experts in coexistence to reflect on the World Day for Cultural Diversity. The event, hosted by Fundación Mejora at the national headquarters of Scientology in Madrid, placed emphasis on education, prevention and dialogue as tools against prejudice. The round table included a representative of the Bahá’í Community of Spain, Fernando Hernández of news eugene oregon the Madrid Municipal Police Diversity Management Unit, flamenco artist Tito Losada, a Roma guitarist and composer, and human rights educator Denise González. Speakers presented personal, cultural and institutional perspectives on how mutual knowledge can help build more inclusive communities.

In the discussion, participants addressed themes such as religious freedom, intercultural coexistence and human dignity. Fundación Mejora linked the initiative with Scientology’s emphasis on ethical values and community improvement. Ivan Arjona, representative of the Church of Scientology to European and international institutions, emphasised that cultural and religious diversity can become a strength when accompanied by mutual understanding and responsibility.
